TechCrunch has a brand new proprietor, once more. Yahoo has bought the tech information website to the personal fairness agency Regent for an undisclosed sum, in accordance with an announcement on Friday.
When Verizon acquired AOL in 2015 and Yahoo in 2017, the corporate folded TechCrunch, Engadget, Yahoo Sports activities, and different websites into a brand new division known as Oath, which later turned Verizon Media.
